Magnitude 2.5 earthquake detected in North Korea

북한 함경북도 길주서 규모 2.5 지진…9월 핵실험이 유발
A 2-point-5 magnitude earthquake was detected in North Korea's Hamgyeongbuk-do Province this morning.
Joint analysis led by South Korea's Meteorological Administration shows the quake occurred at 7:45 a.m., South Korea time, northwest of Kilju County.
Despite its proximity to a nuclear test site... it's believed to have been natural, not a man-made earthquake.
The same analysis however, did point to a possibility it may have been an aftershock... following North Korea's sixth nuclear test in September... which triggered a 6-point-oh-magnitude quake.
